Nestled in the heart of Ibiza, the Hotel Montesol Experimental has been reborn with a vibrant soul — colourful, artistic, and unmistakably Mediterranean. To enhance this sunny setting, Pyrolave created custom enameled lava pieces, from bold-toned bathroom basins to a terracotta reception counter and one-of-a-kind restaurant tables.
Sun-drenched tones and a bold neo-retro style
Inside the rooms, Pyrolave’s handcrafted basins in soft yellow, light blue and terracotta perfectly reflect the Mediterranean palette imagined by interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon. The rounded lines and glossy finishes bring depth, luminosity and a joyful energy to every space.
The raw beauty of lava, sculpted into design
Each Pyrolave piece is made by hand from lava stone extracted from the Auvergne volcanoes in France, then meticulously enameled in our Castelsarrasin workshops. Whether it’s a statement basin or the terracotta-toned reception desk, every element becomes a sculptural feature that tells a story of earth, fire and elegance.
From counter to table: enamel as a design signature
The design language extends to the hotel’s restaurant, where Pyrolave’s enameled lava tables echo the colours of the bar and the artist-painted plates. Each surface is a unique canvas — tactile, lively, and radiant under the Ibiza light.
