Cowley Manor Experimental x Pyrolave: craftsmanship meets contemporary design

As part of the renovation of the iconic Cowley Manor Experimental in the English countryside, designer Dorothée Meilichzon collaborated with Pyrolave to craft bespoke bathroom elements — washbasins and bathtub surrounds — in three distinctive glazes: Mustard, Emerald, and Saint-Émilion.

A dialogue between French craftsmanship and hospitality design

Reimagining the traditional English manor, Cowley Manor Experimental combines warmth, creativity, and sophistication.
Each Pyrolave enamelled lava piece, handmade in France, reflects the brand’s expertise in transforming volcanic lava stone into an elegant, timeless material for luxury interiors.

Three colors, three moods

Each bathroom tells a different story:

  • Mustard, warm and golden, evokes light and comfort.
  • Emerald, lush and natural, recalls the surrounding greenery.
  • Saint-Émilion, rich and deep, adds a note of understated elegance.

Together, they create a unique chromatic experience where color becomes architecture.

Captured through the lens of Mr. Tripper, the project reveals the tactile beauty of enamel, the dialogue of tones, and the poetic balance between design and material.
A perfect expression of Pyrolave’s artistry and Dorothée Meilichzon’s signature aesthetic.
